George Burrows Group Insurances for Police Officers
The benefits of choice 

In 1964 officers in Norfolk were, for the first time, able to join a life insurance scheme specifically tailored for police officers. This life insurance scheme was provided by George Burrows and was spreading throughout forces offering as it did life and personal accident cover at extremely competitive premiums.

The Police Negotiating Board met on 24th April 2008 when the Staff Side officially rejected an earlier proposal by the Official Side to negotiate a multi year pay deal based on the index used by the Police Arbitration Tribunal during the 2007 pay negotiations
