Welcome to the Norfolk Police Federation website. The Police Federation is here to assist in and promote the welfare and efficiency of the Force and we represent the 1550 men and women who provide a policing service to the people of Norfolk.

Our aim is to safeguard the interests of our members and to represent them in all matters concerning their work, their well-being and quality of life while at work.

The Federation has and is dealing with a small number of discrepancies in relation to officers pay and this situation causes particular difficulties where there has been an overpayment and the Force seeks to claw-back the difference.

Those of you who have had time to look ahead to Christmas and the New Year will have noticed that this year 26th December (Boxing Day) will fall on a Saturday and when this occurs national public holiday days are relocated. As a consequence, Monday 28th December has been declared a public holiday. 

You will be aware that on 13^th May 2009 we set out on our website the Federation position in relation to a concerning and growing number of complaints from officers across the Force from all uniform disciplines relating to short notice duty changes, publication of duty rosters and the difficulty in securing responses to annual leave requests.
