Following the entry on our website on 9th January 2012 we now publish a summary chart setting out the PAT decisions in respect of the relevant Winsor recommendations.

 We will be publishing a summary of the Winsor recommendations and the outcome in each case of the PAT decision in the near future.

It is the Government’s priority that every child attends school regularly and absence is reduced to a minimum. There is clear evidence that any absence from school can and does have an impact on children’s attainment. It follows that schools should keep any leave of absence granted to a minimum.

The following statement has been issued by our National Chairman & Secretary following a meeting with Tom Winsor earlier today.
